Fashion Friday: Pumpkin Picking

It was the perfect Oregon fall day; the combination of cloudy skies and misty rain, the smell of damp earth and fallen leaves, the most ideal day of course - for pumpkin picking!

We did not stumble upon any old patch though, such a magnificent day called for a special trip to ROLOFF FARMS! That's right, the magical setting of that show "Little People Big World" which is pretty much where my obsession with living in the Pacific Northwest began. For years I remember watching so many opening day episodes, season after season, longingly wishing I could trade my palm trees and 80+ degree "fall" weather for rolling hills and evergreens. I was there through it all and now I am HERE.

Of course with such an occasion I am faced with the eternal question - what will I wear? I have been really favoring neck scarves as of late. It's like a more cozy, less formal version of a necklace. My favorite place to hit up for these fashionable finds is Michaels Craft store of all places, they have a section of an isle completely dedicated to these handkerchiefs and for only $1 you can't beat it!
