Exploring Charleston Day 1

Here ares some shots from yesterday's adventure. It was nice coming at this time of year because the weather was nice and cool and the Christmas decor was still in full swing. We spent pretty much all day walking up and down King St. which is the main street of Charleston. We discovered some new favorite places to eat and hangout during our stay, some places worth checking out are:

-The Urbanoutfitters on King Street (I know, what's so special about a clothing store right? This one happens to be in a stunning old performance theater and even if shopping for clothes isn't your thing, you should definitely check it out for the sake of some beautiful architecture.

-If you're in the mood for some killer Thai/Asian cuisine, check out Spring Roll this is a newly discovered gem we stumbled upon for lunch one day (soon to come in my future Charleston eats post) they have AMAZING curry and pad Thai dishes.

-Grab a cup of joe at City Lights Coffee if you can find a table that is, this quaint locally owned coffee shop always has a line out the door.

-Marion Square on the intersection of Calhoun and King, this square is always nice for a quick picnic or walk around, it was also beautifully lit with Christmas decorations this time of year.

-White Point Gardens which is at the very southern tip of the city, this is probably the most beautiful park in Charleston surrounded by old oaks and situated right by the water's edge.

-Rainbow Row the famous line of colorful houses at the intersection of Church and East Bay St. (close to the White Point Gardens) is always worth a look.

That's all for today, I am editing the pictures from today as we speak! Look for an upcoming favorite restaurants post!
