Exploring Jekyll Island, GA

For a mini Christmas get away we ventured about an hour north of Jacksonville to Jekyll Island Georgia. This Island was once the destination for millionairess such as J.P. Morgan and Rockefeller about 100 years ago. While it's not the most exciting place to go, it has it's small charms like the 20 miles of bike trials, endless beaches, and amazing restaurants (I never had a bad meal there). Just make sure you go in the summer and not the winter.

I started of with some grilled fish and red beans n' rice at Fin's.

It seems like everyone in this town has a dog...

Around the Jekyll Island Club...

Really cool store about 10min. outside the island in Brunswick.

Gotta have my coffee :)

Driftwood Beach, you can see how it got it's name...

Two dog tags...
